Pharmaceuticals: Jobs Landed

John Bantjes has been hired as a third shift quality assurance engineer at Perrigo. Bantjes will provide assistance with the integration of Perrigo Holland and Perrigo Allegan quality systems as part of the quality assurance team.  

Bantjes brings to Perrigo more than 30 years of experience.  He has extensive experience with product and process development in quality systems, including environmental compliance and production operations effectiveness, root cause determination and change management.  

Bantjes has worked in the chemical, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical and education industries.

Bantjes is originally from and currently resides in Holland, Mich., and has spent the last 19 years in Windsor, Massachusetts.

Maurizio LaFranca has been hired as the company pilot for Perrigo in Allegan.

In this role, LaFranca is responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of each Perrigo flight.

LaFranca has nine years of pilot experience. Most recently he spent three years as an airline pilot and five as a corporate pilot.

LaFranca earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is from Kentwood, MI and currently resides in Caledonia, Mich.

Jeff Pirrone has been hired as procurement operations buyer for the packaging team at Perrigo. Pirrone will oversee strategic and day-to-day packaging component operations. Pirrone brings to Perrigo 15 years of experience in packaging, purchasing and logistics. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management degree from Davenport University.
