Andy Nicks joins NuWave as Account Manager

Andrew Nicks has been named Account Manager at NuWave Technology Partners (NuWave). He will be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and selling NuWave’s products and services to various-sized businesses.

He previously worked as a Sales Supervisor and Technology Expert for Officemax, where he developed valuable experiences and skills that transfer well to his role at NuWave. He looks forward to developing relationships with clients and enhancing their use of NuWave’s line of products and services.

He says: "I chose this position because it allows me to use my experience with people to enhance relationships with existing customers and improve the possibility for NuWave to develop new clients."

Jeff Wright joins NuWave Technology Partners

Jeff Wright has been named Account Manager for NuWave Technology Partners.

Wright will be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and selling NuWave’s products and services to various sized businesses.

He previously worked as an IT manager for a property management company. Wright also worked as an IT Project Manager and Customer Relations Representative.

NuWave Technology Partners implements state-of-the-art telecommunication systems, builds and supports computer networks, and develops custom software and e-commerce solutions. A Michigan-based company, NuWave has offices in Kalamazoo, Lansing, Grand Rapids, Richland, and Punta Gorda, Fla.

Nancie Corum becomes head winemaker at St. Julian Winery

St. Julian Winery has named Nancie Corum head winemaker, making her the first female professional commercial winemaker in Michigan.

She has previously worked for nine seasons for St. Julian Winery.

In August 2002, Corum joined St. Julian as a lab manager and enologist.

Her contributions over the years have included making continued improvements to the winery's Quality Assurance and Quality Control lab.

She was promoted to Assistant Winemaker in May 2003 and to Associate Winemaker in August 2008.

As head winemaker, her responsibilities include managing all aspects of harvest, development and implementation of the sensory evaluation program for St. Julian's wholesalers and trade accounts.

She oversees day-to-day activity in the wine cellar, manages juice and wine sales to more than 250 bulk-customer accounts, represents  grocery-chain private-label accounts and serves as a judge in several international wine competitions each year.

Triangle Associates names new president

Triangle Associates, Inc. has appointed Mitchell G. Watt, AIA, to the position of president. 

In his new post Watt will become more involved and active in the day-to-day operations of the company. Watt will also retain his role as Chief Business Development Officer and direct the company's sales, marketing and pre-construction activities.

He will continue to serve clients, acting as Project Executive on key projects, and will remain active with various boards and organizations throughout West Michigan.
