Construction services: Jobs Landed

Raymond Burtzloff has been hired as a CAD Draftsman for American Village Builders.

Burtzloff has 12 years of CAD drafting experience in a variety of complex residential and commercial fields, most recently with Stafford-Smith, Inc.

Burtzloff joined the design department at American Village Builders, where he is part of the American Village Builders team using advanced software tools to help plan, document, and construct residential and commercial projects throughout the region.

American Village Builders is the custom residential building division of AVB, and specializes in single-family homes, condominiums and neighborhoods.

Kristin Goodchild has been named director of business for Michigan for Skanska USA’s building business unit.

Goodchild will lead business development efforts for Western Michigan, Northern Illinois and Indiana in the areas of health care, higher education and K-12. She is responsible for  planning efforts in executing bond and community engagement. She will work closely with schools, architects and committees as they develop a bond campaign strategy and build community support.

Goodchild has 14 years of construction industry experience and is entering her fourth year with Skanska, where she began as a project controls administrator.

The National Association of Women in Construction’s Kalamazoo chapter awarded Goodchild the 2011 Crystal Vision Award for her achievements in advancing the success of women in the construction industry.
