Jake Cook is new tax analyst for Perrigo

Jake Cook has been hired as a tax analyst for Perrigo in Allegan.
 
He will be responsible for preparing Perrigo's state, federal and international tax returns, assisting in preparation of quarterly financial statements related to tax, and assisting on tax audits, planning and research.
 
Cook has four years experience, most recently as a a senior tax associate at a national accounting and consulting firm.  
 
Cook earned a bachelor’s in accounting from Michigan State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Stacey VanLeeuwen promoted at Perrigo

Stacey VanLeeuwen has been promoted to Sale and Operations Planning Supervisor for Perrigo, a leading pharmaceutical supplier.

VanLeeuwen is now responsible for developing demand forecasts that help the company make informed production, material supply, capacity planning and financial outlook decisions. She will be working at Perrigo’s Allegan, Michigan location.

Robb Smalldon named manager of Studio 431

Robb Smalldon has been named Manager of Studio 431 of Landscape Forms.

Perrigo names Jon Brown-Larsen as financial analyst

Jon Brown-Larsen has been promoted to Financial Analyst for the Liquid Value Stream at Perrigo’s Allegan site.

Brown-Larsen is responsible in this position for providing financial analysis for the company’s liquid pharmaceutical products division.

Skanska USA names Kristin Goodchild Director of Business Development

Kristin Goodchild has been named director of business for Michigan for Skanska USA’s building business unit.

Goodchild will lead business development efforts for Western Michigan, Northern Illinois and Indiana in the areas of health care, higher education and K-12. She is responsible for  planning efforts in executing bond and community engagement. She will work closely with schools, architects and committees as they develop a bond campaign strategy and build community support.

Goodchild has 14 years of construction industry experience and is entering her fourth year with Skanska, where she began as a project controls administrator.

The National Association of Women in Construction’s Kalamazoo chapter awarded Goodchild the 2011 Crystal Vision Award for her achievements in advancing the success of women in the construction industry.

Kirt Martin joins Landscape Forms as as Vice President, Design and Marketing

Kirt Martin has been named Vice President, Design and Marketing for Landscape Forms. He will be responsible for leading  Landscape Forms’ creative teams for Product Development, Marketing and Marketing Communications.

The Landscape Forms Product Design Team is currently led by retiring Vice President of Design, Arno Yurk. Martin will work closely with Yurk for the next few months to assure a smooth transition.

Martin previously directed industrial design activities at Turnstone, a division of Steelcase, which included directing internal and external designers. He also served as senior industrial designer for Steelcase Wood furniture.

He earned a 2001 IDEA Award, several Good Design Awards and Best of NeoCon Silver award.  Martin’s work has been featured in numerous trade publications including Metropolis, I.D., and Interior Design.
