Perrigo Co. is looking for a first-shift Production Supervisor.
The
Production Supervisor will oversee 30 to 40 employees in a
pharmaceutical packaging or manufacturing environment in Allegan, Mich.
The
successful candidate will assign tasks and adjust workloads to meet
production goals, schedule and monitor training and assess progress,
monitor production quality and assist in solving challenges.
This
position will coordinate and control packaging/manufacturing, assess
and monitor training and progress of employees, and use proven
leadership skills to solve problems with associates.
Required Skills• A BA or BS in a business or technical field is highly preferred.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Keenly developed problem solving skills.
•
Proven ability to interpret and apply written procedures and standards
governing both manufacturing processes and employee performance is
required.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment are critical.
• Demonstrated project management skills are required.
• PC proficiency is a must.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or other FDA regulated packaging/manufacturing environments a plus.
• The successful candidate must be physically able to climb stairs, use
hands to manipulate basic hand tools/hand held equipment, and operate a
motor vehicle to access various plant locations.
