The Hinman Co. is seeking a marketing manager for its Kalamazoo office.

Job description
The Hinman Company, a leader in commercial real estate, is looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the full-time Marketing Manager position in the Kalamazoo office.

Job responsibilities include: Implement marketing strategy and programs, and develop marketing ideas and concepts for improved market exposure

• Improve social media presence and email marketing effectiveness - Work with leasing teams relative to potential leads and in presenting property opportunities

• Design visuals and create written content for website, email campaigns, blogs, social media avenues, advertisement, signage and other supporting materials

• Work directly with the Leasing and Development Team to create supporting marketing materials, both print and digital

• Ensure that all marketing initiatives are consistent and follow the overall brand strategy

• Assist with strategic planning, research, and analysis of target audiences by region and industry

• Draft and edit press releases

• Event planning

• Update property listings as needed

• Work with sensitive and confidential information.

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualified candidates must be proficient in Photoshop, Microsoft Office products, and have experience with website and database management. This person will interact with employees, existing tenants, new prospects, and third-party vendors although most interaction will be with the internal Hinman team. The position requires superior organizational, written and verbal skills, as well as creativity, attention to detail, outstanding work ethic, and the ability to be a team player. A background in commercial real estate is a plus. Some local travel will be required. Willing to consider a flexible schedule if desired.
