Glen Oaks Community College is seeking an Institutional Effectiveness Research Analyst.
The Research Analyst will work as a team member in support of Institutional Effectiveness.
Responsibilities
• perform statistical and analytical institutional research;
• provide information/research for decision-making and program planning;
• offer research support in the design and development of survey instruments;
• design, maintain and query databases and information systems to support institutional effectiveness; and
• respond to surveys, questionnaires and federal and state data collection or accountability requirements.
Requirements• Experience with Datatel is desirable.
•
A bachelor's degree in a specialization involving social science,
higher education, social or educational research, psychology or a
related field.
• Three years of research experience that demonstrate the ability to
conduct complex analyses or a master's degree in one of the above
fields and one year of related experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• An understanding of the culture of higher education institutions;
• Experience in research design and interpreting statistical data; and
• A commitment to providing services in accordance with the stated mission, goals, objectives, and priorities of the college.
