Conestoga-Rovers & Associates is seeking an Estimator and Project Manager for its Kalamazoo, Mich. area operation. This is a full-time, mid-senior level position in the construction industry.
Job Description
• Estimating heavy civil construction/environmental work.
• Writing proposals.
• Managing projects from start to finish while being responsible for schedule and budget.
• Reviewing data from past bids and completed projects to better estimate and price future work.
Desired Skills and Experience
• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years previous experience working for a contracting firm that self-performed related work.
• At least 5 years successful experience estimating and managing civil construction projects that produced satisfied clients and profitable margins.
• Previous environmental remediation experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must be U. S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).
