CSM Group promotes former intern to project engineer

Andrew Dobbs has moved from Monroe Brown Intern to full-time Project Engineer for CSM Group.

He will assist and support project managers with daily and weekly reports, bid solicitations, project meetings, construction document management and more. His first project as Project Engineer will be on the Marshall High School project in Marshall, Mich.

Dobbs recently graduated from the Lee Honors College at Western Michigan University, with a bachelor of science degree in Construction Engineering and minors in Mathematics and Business.

He was a Monroe Brown Intern in the summer of 2011 and throughout his senior year at Western Michigan University for CSM Group. The Monroe-Brown Internship Program provides internships with hourly wages, valuable networking opportunities and up to $6,000 in scholarship funding to all student participants.

Also at CMS, Lindsay Mukans is a Monroe Brown Construction Management Intern for 2012. Mukans will assist the project team at Bronson Healthcare Group and The Family Health Center of Kalamazoo. She will assist on building projects to gain experience in construction management scheduling and coordination. She also will assist with quality issues and testing services, submissions, drawing and blueprint maintenance. Mukans graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from WMU in 2011 and is currently seeking her Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from WMU.

Other recent hires for CMS are: Scott Comerford, Senior Project Manager; New Construction Manager John Garay; Receptionist Sarah Lettow and Project Manager Steve Moore.
